It seems a retired Russian colonel has been convicted of espionage. Apparently, he was able to reveal the identities of dozens of Russian agents. This would make him an officer in the GRU, the Russian military intelligence service (equivalent to the Defense Intelligence Agency).
His life is going to be very unpleasant - especially if the GRU leadership comes from the old school.
